The Challenge

TorchIt, a social venture tech startup, was facing a significant challenge due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic caused a significant impact on the company's revenue stream, with a poor response rate from target groups for acquiring funding. The company was struggling to continue their work of empowering persons with disabilities to lead a dignified, independent, and meaningful life through state-of-the-art technological innovations. The situation was causing immense stress to the team, who were determined to create an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

The Solutions

Our team analyzed and researched the problem, and provided effective solutions to improve TorchIt's Corporate Social Responsibility strategies. After extensive brainstorming, the consultants compiled four main CSR strategies that would help TorchIt overcome its challenge. With the goal of increasing TorchIt's reach and acquiring the necessary funding, we identified and tapped into over 10+ influencers and 50+ companies. This effort was aimed at garnering support from key players in the industry and spreading the word about TorchIt's innovative approach to providing assistance to differently-abled persons. The first strategy involved enhancing the skills of consultants in the CSR domain. We provided training to the TorchIt team to help them understand the nuances of CSR and the importance of social impact. This helped them create a CSR plan that aligned with their mission and vision. The second strategy involved broadening practical knowledge in a different field. We helped explore other areas where they could create a social impact. This exploration resulted in the development of new products and services that would address the needs of people with disabilities, and the creation of partnerships with other organizations working towards the same cause. The third strategy involved integrating technology for social impact. We helped TorchIt to leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to create innovative solutions that would help persons with disabilities to lead better lives. This integration helped them develop new products and services that had a significant impact on the lives of the target audience. The fourth strategy was conducting CSR research. We conducted research on TorchIt's target audience, competitors, and market trends. This research helped them understand the needs and requirements of their target audience better. It also helped them to identify gaps in the market that they could fill with their products and services.

The Impact

The solutions provided by our branch were successful in increasing the response rate from target groups. The compiled CSR strategies helped TorchIt to generate maximum impact in the lives of a maximum number of people at low costs and high efficiency. TorchIt was able to develop innovative products and services that helped persons with disabilities to lead better lives.
