Uboontu aims to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene, woman empowerment, waste management, non-formal education, and computer literacy. However, they lacked volunteer engagement and had limited outreach. To address this, they needed eye-catching posters and Canva induction. Additionally, they required donations and an effective SROI to showcase social value to organizations and investors. 180 DC SGGSCC provided reliable solutions to all these problems.
The team of 180 DC SGGSCC took on the challenging task of preparing the SROI approach for the client. The SROI analysis was a process of understanding, measuring, and reporting on the social, environmental, and economic value that was being created by the organization. During the project, the team measured the impact created by Project Manbhar Swacch. The team also developed a social media strategy to sensitize men towards menstruation and promote nutritional, remedial, education, and computer literacy. To support fundraising efforts, the team provided a database of potential donors. Volunteer engagement was another key aspect of the project, and the team onboarded volunteers with the required expertise. Overall, the team's work helped to calculate the SROI for the client and provided comprehensive solutions to their challenges. By the end of the project, the client had a clear plan of action to improve their outreach and impact.
One of the most remarkable outcomes of our work was the increase in volunteer engagement. We successfully onboarded new volunteers with the required expertise, resulting in a higher level of participation in the project's activities. We also helped Uboontu to increase their social media presence. By developing a social media strategy to sensitize men towards menstruation and for nutritional, remedial, education & computer literacy, we were able to attract over 1,000 new social media followers. This helped to raise awareness about the project and its impact on the community. Moreover, our efforts resulted in 2,700+ houses being impacted under the Project Manbhar Swachh, and 2.5 lakh beneficiaries from the same project. This means that we were able to help more people gain access to the benefits of the project, including better menstrual hygiene, woman empowerment, and waste management, as well as programs for non-formal education and computer literacy. Overall, our work with Uboontu proved to be successful in achieving our goal of creating a positive impact on society.
